Monster striker, Arsenal wanted it for a reason

It proved the reason for attracting the attention of big clubs.

The Swedish national soccer team lost 2-5 to Portugal in an international friendly match at Estadio Dom Afonso Henriquez in Portugal on the 22nd.

Sweden lost points to Rafael Leão, Matheus Nunes and Bruno Fernandes in the first half alone, taking the lead to 0-3 in the early hours. On top of that, in the 12th minute of the second half, they conceded another goal to Bruma.

However, Victor Jockeres scored a comeback goal one minute later to chase after the rival. Jockeres received a grounder cross from Emile Horm from the right side and lightly finished the game in front of the goalpost.  스포츠토토

Jockeres is a striker who is in the spotlight of big clubs these days. Earlier, Fabrizio Romano, an Italian reporter who is well-versed in the news on the transfer market, reported that Arsenal plans to recruit Jockeres this summer.

Jockeres joined Sporting Lisbon in Portugal ahead of this season. Watchers say he boasts superior goal-scoring ability and integrity of forward pressure. In addition, he is praised for his excellent speed despite his large physical condition of 187 centimeters.

Jockeres has performed tremendously since joining Sporting. He played in 39 matches in all of his competitions this season, scoring a whopping 36 goals and 14 assists. In addition, at just 25, he is considered to be the leader of the national team's forward line, succeeding Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

His monstrous performance eventually caught Arsenal's radar. Arsenal have been struggling with the absence of a solid front-line striker this season. Gabriel Jesus has been frequently injured and has been showing ups and downs. Eddie Nketiah, another striker, has been slow to grow.

In the end, they are looking to recruit a new front-line striker this summer, and one of the candidates is Yockeres.
